From London:- Take the M4 to J 24 Newport.
Then A449 to Raglan. Then A40 to Abergavenny. (Dual Carriageway)
Then A40 to Crickhowell and on to A479 at Tretower. (sign
posted from now on to Builth Wells) through to Talgarth then
at Bronllys right for a mile then left again still on A479.
Through Llswyn A470 to Builth Wells and then LLandrindod A483.
Continue through Llandrindod Wells on the A483, turning left
on to the A44 at Cross Gates towards Rhayader. Continue through
the village of Gwystre. Having passed the Gywstre Inn on your
left continue up the long straight rise looking for a turning
on your right before the brow of the hill, called Carmel Lane.
Turning here, proceed under bridge and continue for about
a mile, passing houses and then a farm on the right. Continue
up the hill until you see a large barn on the left. Opposite
this is the gate marked 'Cryndir' on the right. Go through
this and keep following the track to the end (including cattle
grid and gates).
